Comfortable hotel with dream view of Mount Vesuvius *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were with a group tour guides in this hotel. It is located on the hillside above wonderful Sorrento (8 kilometer) with a fantastic view over the Bay of Sorrento in the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Because the Hotel is located at the edge of the town (sant' Agata is very far-flung) are ways in the place is quite far, sometimes difficult and along the road without sidewalks Hotel passing some very dangerous for pedestrians. In the hotel we felt immediately welcome and very well taken up, the front desk staff were helpful, their guests pleased in every respect. Disabled have it but not easy, since most of the rooms (with the exception of the dependance Villa Romita) only a bathtub with shower. However, the branch is nearly impossible for handicapped (too far from the main building away, steep paths, and entrances, sometimes only one-sided secured stairs). The management offers however, disabled guests with a vehicle to branch and pick them too. All rooms are equipped with balcony, but of course room with sea view (extra charge under circumstances) are preferred. All the staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Hikes were possible from the hotel, otherwise public bus (to the Amalfi-coast) directly in front of the hotel. Shuttle bus (surcharge) from the hotel to Sorrento several times a day, is also connection (sensational cheap) with the so-called circumvesuviana to Naples, Pompei and herculaneum. If you don't want to swim in the sea, for the hotel for a beach holiday in a neat and, in the truest sense of the word, an upscale ambience. by the way, all members of our group at the hotel were very pleased with this hotel and, as far as the comparison had you would prefer, you neighbor hotels 'due golfi 'and' Jaccarino '.
