Central hotel at the via Tuscolana *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ATogether, we 5 overnight accomodation in the hotel had hello. The room lay to the track lines, but with closed windows we heard nearly nothing of the train service, except Tuten of the platoon leader. The setting bed for our daughter (12 J.) was a converted couch. But A) was this couch as broadly as a double bed and a b) was good the mattress, so that it slept well. The breakfast - mentions already repeatedly here as - super in some places is is renovation needy the hotel. The finery in the backyard falls down partially. Or there were in parts no baseboards within the corridor range. But we did not find that disturbing. altogether the condition of OK ONE for the safe at the reception is not fees was taken (super service!!!) On the last day we could subordinate the suit-cases in a locked area… We found also great. The environment is not Nobelgegend. directly beside the hotel receivers” their money receive the “Roman resin IV. Only we had frightened, there some people very run-down looked ourselves. But all behaved correctly and inconspicuously. We found the environment however good, because it was evenly no tourist center. There are high-speed restaurants, down at the via Tuscolana is directly a Osteria and/or a restaurant. The prices are like that as here. One pays an addition of 10%, I means for operation, but for a pizza with beverage for the example Coke one comes in such a way on 10 €. Who likes it more cheaply, evenly it goes some into a high-speed restaurant to the example on the way to the metro gives. There the pizza is weighed. so one knows a tidy piece of pizza meal or Lasagne for 3,5 for about 3 euro €. A Coke costs between 1 and 1,5 €… Thus everything normally. In addition one can cover oneself up in the supermarkets for 70 cent with mineral water (1.5 liters) for the day. The connection with metro, bus and course we found super. But rush hours early to tomorrow or against 17 o'clock avoid, there are the metro genuinly full. If one meets from the hotel the main street via Tuscolana, drives immediately on the right of the bus 85 to the Kolosseum (opposite the Osteria described above). If one continues to follow to the via Tuscolana and if the first traffic light crossing turns left after the underpass, directly the Metrostation comes to 300 m. In 10 min is one in the town center, since the metro comes each few minutes. The latter drives against 23:20 clock from the town center back… One must look. There is only the line A with which one for example directly the Trevibrunnen, the Spanish stairs, which Piazzo can reach poolo and the Vatikan. Or one enters at terms the main station into the line B and can drive into the south or the north of the city. One needs to note practically only the last stops of the line, over to know at which side one to enter must. We had a week ticket for 16 €, but there is also Rome map for 3 days with reductions to museums or daily tickets or normal 3 daily ticket. One can loosen the normal tickets at automats in German language. Also the connection of the airport is easy with the course, even if the courses were full sometimes. Adults pay children per travel 8 €, are free. If one arrives at the airport, simply follow the sign-posting direction course symbol. Then at the automat or ticket switch the travel book and stamp, just as as the Metrotickets also. Then the 5 digit courses direction Tuscolana take. not the Leonardo course, drives directly to the main station and is so far I white also more expensive. In Tuscolana the footpath is 5 min to the hotel… Thus everything completely easy. Which I can recommend, in the evening simply times by Tuscolana to run. We were also in Italian Pizzerias, where one did not speak a word English… There correctly tendency and the prices were complete correct. much fun; -)
