So for backpackers this hostel is really not recommendable. It is very centrally located, which means easy access to buses, shopping in the many bars around Queen Street. What about the rooms: dirty, too small if you with the eleven other rooms had to share the, musty, heating pipes, water pipes unisol unglazed at the ceiling, so that one every night have to be afraid, the one which remains. The staff is friendly, but rather rare English knowledge. Also, you get the impression that the hostel itself is a bit disorganized. If you are planning a longer period in Auckland, it is not recommended, but if you only stayed one night in the hostel, you can live with the circumstances. However, there are cheaper alternatives in Auckland, where you for a twelve bed dorm have to pay $23.
