Once and never again *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI spent 5 days at this hotel and these days have really enough. At this hotel, we spent the graduation trip. Such a dirty hotel I had never experienced. The teachers, all my classmate and I were glad when we finally sat on the bus and home began ... Some beds had urine stains, the still smell, so these beds were not made up. In a room was even the water in the bathroom, than you flushed their toilet. In some rooms there were small "roommates" --> ants and cockroaches. Well, I was very lucky to get such a room is not. There were either double or triple room. These rooms were located in pavilions. There were different pavilions, the front desk and the dining room was in another building. The pool was not usable, when we arrived. He was fixed by artisans and empty were. Now the meal time: meal times was in the early one from 7-10 9am, but one has to be there on time to be 7 hours there, as there is not much of choice. The same for the dinner. These times were from 7-10 21h. The bread rolls in the early have always tasted like this, as if they from yesterday. To the rolls butter, margarine, jam, honey, sausage and cheese. Then there was cereal and yogurt. To drink coffee, milk, Kaba, tea or juices as orange juice was also offered. At night there were noodles, rice, potatoes, fish and meat. But everything was cold even when you havel eating on time. The food was also no taste. At night you also had to pay for the drinks, if you wanted them. I was also only two days seemed for dinner, the rest of the days I was with classmates in a restaurant. The food there was delicious. The host had us 20 % on food and drink offered, if you with at least 15 people seemed and if you came with an entire class even 30 %. But this was only for school groups. We found this offer very lovely and the restaurant ("Loran") is also really recommendable.
Location
The distance to the beach wasn't very far. The hotel was on a steep hill. If you are not used to it, it is initially quite strenuous, but after a while you get used to it. The center with many shops and restaurants was about 2km from the hotel. What you must see are the Plitvice Lakes. It is absolutely beautiful, like in paradise. The landscape and the place Crikvenica is also very nice. There are also a few beach bars in Crikvenica or beer gardens, if you plan to go out at night. There were discos were available, but we didn't use it. You could also rent pedal boats. The beaches of the place was very clean, in the center there is a sandy beach, the rest was pebble beach. The water was clear and clean, but there were many sea urchins.
The shower, floors, and mirror weren't cleaned, if new vacationers came. The maids only trash can taught or towels were changed (but only if you had lain on the floor; but it wasn't always.) and toilet paper in the room, if which was needed. Beds weren't made or bath never cleaned, if it had to be cleaned. Than you - polite, the cleaning women for example. about missing toilet paper or towels- not complained and they took literally "revenge" and all of our dodn't, the NOT beside or in the trash can, but on or off the bed were thrown away, took. You also have the bottles, what they actually took some carton should not at all. What a lot of nerve. On the last day we had to spend in the hotel, the rooms were checked by the cleaners to cleanliness. As had these the bad that some cleaning the floor or vacuuming or your windows clean should!!! I my are cleaning ladies, not us guests. They weren't even cleaned the room tidy on our arrival and then if we do their work!!! I really wonder where the 2 stars ...

There was a dining room. As mentioned above, the food was not very great and especially in the evening not even edible. You could eat breakfast, but at night it is better to go to a restaurant. For example you can try out the "Loran", there you do not need to walk far, only about an 8-10 minutes. The table cloths in the hall weren't always changed. If stains on them, they were just turned left or simply on the table, as it was. You had to pay the drinks at night.
Sport & Entertainment
There is a pool, but it was not usable. He was not filled with water and he was of a craftsman presented. At the beach you could rent pedal boats, but when we wanted to borrow pedal boats, we were about 2km sent them on the nearby beach, as they were broken. The beach was clean, and also the water and it was very clear. You could also glass bottom boat.
Room
There were either double or twin rooms available. The rooms were very small and cramped. The first night was very cold, since the windows leaking. We all felt that would you sleep in a store. There wasn't even a heating, also not in the bathroom. I would recommend taking your own sheets, pillows and blankets, as they looked from the hotel was not very great. Many were stained or smelly. The balcony was small and the chairs on the balcony were very dirty and stained. The beds were worn out, it was already get away with backache. There was also a safe. The bathroom had no ventilation and no window.
Tips and recommendations
You should definitely the currency, so in Krotien kuna. In some very fine restaurants or shops you could pay with euros, but not at all. The hotel also serves only accepts kuna accepted. The exchange offices are in the center. Food and food was very cheap. I would bring extra bedding and also bring bathing shoes for showering or for the beach (very rocky, sea urchin) but, if you find a better hotel, take that other, because at the ad Turres it is really not long unbearable!!
