Silent bathing holiday *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ANice hotel location, spacious, very nice place, all inclusive, good mixture of the nationalities (Czechs, Hollander, Germans, Belgians etc - no British !), most of the guests had all inclusive, food was very often being repeated, however there was always something for everyone over there, flavored very dandy. We had booked especially large room (it is not necessary !); kitchenette without dishes for example. In general clean, room service not perfect, however in order, long ways (87 stairs), mostly families with children, all inclusive and main season often fully booked, great sea.
Location
Really lonesome, interesting place in 1 km, transfer time about 2 and 2.5 hours, very stressy, arrivals and departures very uncomfortable, organize the tours with rental cars yourself - no problem and better than the organized bus tours, rental car for 2-3 days is enough for the whole island, dont rent in the hotel, you should not get fixed only in the hotel.
Personnel friendly, problems are taken care of, understanding mostly in English, check-in without any problem, very few tour offers, hard working, however non intrusive animateurs.
Gastronomy
Food was always refilled up, enough choice, little valor for flavor and to the landtypical meals, hotel type kitchen, clean, meals and drinks not cheap - better take all inclusive, tips are, of course, accepted with great pleasure and the tips also help, but however they are not demanded.
Sport & Entertainment
no water sport over hotel, pool OK, great sea, lying chairs and umbrellas on beach for 2 euro. definitely take with you bathing shoes for the beach, no disco - for young people probably somewhat lonesome, it is recommended for the families with children. for couples without children therefore sometimes somewhat annoying, many animations offers.
Room
Superior - for 2 persons. too large, great location - however far ways, changing and washing not always perfect, but OK. Dont forget the private magnet for the air-conditioner, no minibar - but refrigerator, kitchenette not usable, as there are no stove and dishes available, nice view, safe, TV, telephone, hair-dryer available and in good order.
Tips and recommendations
Well-baanced price/performance ratio, less expensive alternatives in the place (Skala Eressos), better book the low season, cooling wind, less expensive telephone in the place, dont forget the slippers and magnet, do not only stay in hotel all the time !!!
