Hotel Affinia Manhattan

The location of the Affinia is excellent - you are in about 10 minutes walk in Times Square (where we every evening, because you have to take advantage of this nightlife just), also about 10 minutes from the hotel in the Empire State Building. In addition, there is just across the underground station, the we with our week of course there were daily out several times. A few mins walk away with the Macy's the world's largest department store, Starbucks, DunkinDonout, fast food, and a more formal gastronomy as well as small supermarkets are all within the immediate walking distance. It was a really great location and absolutely crucial for us. And we were not disappointed!!!

Room cleaning always functioned, gastronomy there was no, check in/out without problems. Again, the battery safe w/o and we could not get into. Within a few minutes was maintenance man as the thing to open. Well, it was safe took over an hour to him he been drilled, but he was very friendly and tried hard.

A pool would have been wonderful, as it during our stay but always clearly over 30 degrees. But sadly not.

The room (specifically studio) was very spacious with a large living/sleeping area, a rather small but adequate bathroom and a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave. We used the kitchen used it except for using the fridge, so it was not so important that these fairly used and in serious need of paint and especially new floor needed. As well as the machines have stayed many years behind it and look partially not very vertrauenerweckend from, which we had not affected told, but someone who want to cook maybe disturbing. The bed was lovely large and with pleasant not durchgelegener mattress. The bathroom and the rest of the room with carpeted which mostly not very hygienic in a place, but still spotless and very well maintained. There was quite a noisy air conditioning, but the inevitable street noise drowned out in New York. We slept very well and the air conditioning/traffic noise than not very disturbing, but also here: for anyone with seichterem sleep it could of course to noisy!

We were there in August and for the Studio 71 euro per person paid for NY in the location, which was a very good price. For a similar price I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend it.
