Good Hotel-fair price *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located right on the canal in the north of Venice in the trendy district of cannaregio, just a short walk from the tourist action. A direct connection to the vaporetto network does not give it. From Piazzale Roma is one of the best (if you are a good through, about 15-20 minutes). Bars and restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity. Also a small supermarket.
In the hotel everything was very neat and clean. Our room was a good size in a separate building (5 meters above the small courtyard). The breakfast was for Italian conditions surprisingly good. The hotel bar is very expensive: the cheapest glass of wine cost 9.00 €. You get but also in front of the hotel on the canal in the sun and in the shade.
It was bad, I think that the doors are not isolated. Which meant, that the strong banging doors, once in the hotel, another door or promised. The just annoying, especially in the morning when the staff start to 06:30 has. We stuck a towel in between.
