Nice, but without a car rather far-flung *

Nice, familial location, but very remote. In the summer to walk up the hill almost not reasonable-but there are shuttle service to 22 hours.
The beach in Hausnähe is not really for bathing. Therefore I recommend it only Marquesas Islands Time car. Tip: definitely olive-Press-Museum in Plakados-interesting. Sunset in Mytilene. In eftalou by the hot springs through the second beach to visit. Beach of Tarti. Please note a piece of gravel road from plomari and vatera (about Kato Stavros) very difficult-on some maps marked as paved.
