Beautiful luxury hotel in great location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWhen you enter the hotel you get the feeling a cathedral to enter. There is a slight Weihrauchduft in the air and the lobby due to the size and height but very. We found the hotel not as pretentious, as wood and marble and gold was not used. We had a Deluxe room with sea view, the balcony was comfortably furnished and we had a wonderful view of the bay. The room was relatively large and tastefully furnished with a desk, sofa, armchairs and a table, two closets and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was not very large but is adequate.
After 1 week trip through the interesting, but very sparse country, was the large green gardens a feast for the eyes. There was no shortage of pool chairs, so that all of his favorite spot later in the day could find. The service was very attentive and every employee greeted warmly crossed the path.
We have twice in the beach restaurant excellent fish and the prices can be with DT. Cities compare. We found the price/performance ratio in order.
1 time we stayed at Seblat Al bustan, a Bedouin camp reproductions, with Omani food eaten, which we felt was very touristy and if you travelled through the country is, you can get a gift.
There is a shuttle bus connection twice a day to souq and shopping center otherwise you need a taxi or rental car.
Highly recommended is the massage offer, I had a 1 hour Chinese massage and I can only say this was excellent.
Overall it was a nice, quiet and relaxing stay in a beautiful environment that is recommended.
