Renovated Al bustan *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe have stayed twice at the hotel before the renovation and now Al bustan during the autumn holidays booked a week stay.
The new grounds and pool are very well laid out and the chedi Hotel " " recreated. As for the renovation of the rooms is concerned I see no improvement on earlier, especially the bathroom is for today's standards much too small dimensioned.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed from the food, both the buffet and the a la carte restaurants.
Especially the service in the restaurant was often very inattentive, the variety and quality of the food can't get more on prior years to match. In the beach restaurant is the preparation of the food, the chef subject, the dishes are sometimes prepared differently.
The Chinese restaurant, surprised with lukewarm, minimal dishes (the price was all the greater therefor). A highlight is the " Vue " , in which the service, as well as the food star character.
For a quiet, relaxing holiday in a pleasant atmosphere is still the Al bustan a good choice. Based on the price, especially compared to the other 5-star hotels in the Emirates (for example, the Emirates palace) but be improved a lot.
