Wir haben Alba Dorata über Hapimag gebucht, weil es eine ideale Ausgangsbasis für Wanderungen im östlichen Sardinien ist. Das Hotel besteht aus ca. 50 Ferienhäusern, die um einen großzügigen Pool mit Restaurant und Bar stehen. Die Häuser sind in der Vorsaison etwas "schattig", da sie von Bäumen umwachsen sind. Auch die Terrasse ist überdacht, was in der Hochsaison sicher alles ganz angenehm ist. Klimaanlage vorhanden. Zum kleinen Strand mit kostenlosen Liegestühlen ist es ca. 15 min zu laufen.
Man sollte unbedingt einen Mietwagen zur Verfügung haben, da der nächste, schöne Orte Orosei ca. 12 km entfernt ist. Sonst gibt es nur das Nachbarhotel mit einem kleinen Shop und noch eine weitere Bucht mit etwas Infrastruktur in Laufweite. Mit Mietwagen wunderbare Wanderziele, Orte, Natur und Kultur gut erreichbar!
