It is located in a great central, about three minutes 'walk from the cathedral. My single room was a double room with an extra bed for single use, the price for the room at this location very reasonable. The air conditioning in the room was very quiet and well set, for the first time so I had not get away from it all. The bathroom was spacious, shower in the bath tub and also with bidet.
As my room was on the street side, it was very quiet. At the front desk they gave us a good recommendation for a pizzeria, which were completely normal. The breakfast was good and sufficient for Italian standards.
From Santa Maria novella train station it was a good 25 minute walk, but there are several buses directly to the cathedral.
For a stay in Florence, we can only recommend this hotel.
