Hotel Alcudia Pins

The hotel is right at the bay of Alcudia in the holiday-region Platja de Muro, exactly between Port de Alcudia and Can Picaforte. You can go directly to the beach from the hotel and have the opportunity to get beverages or food from the hotel room. We had a rental car and it took us 45 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop, the busses are driving to Alcudia or interurban to Palma. Very good connections.

The staff at the reception is very friendly and obliging. We had to change rooms two times on the arrival day, the first one smelled of smoke and the second one was directly above the air conditionner of Pins Burger. No problems there. We turned down the childcare after seeing the Miniclub. The Miniclub is in a cellar room, tiled and sterile. Absolutely not to be recommended. Just as the dutch carer.

The restaurant is situated in a seperate building in the lobby of the hotel. Unfortunately with a bad air conditionner. The quality and variety of the food is fine. Just international. Thus sausages and beans for breakfast.

The entertainment during the day was limited to the usual pool games (waterball, etc.), playing dart and shooting airguns. Not the right thing for us. The childrens' disco in the evening needs getting used to. Dutch hosts screaming loudly and doing their best. The pool area and the water slide was great. Our little son was thrilled. Although the water in the pool was very cold.
The were enough pool chairs because the hotel was not booked up. Very nice beach with a view of Alcudia and the mountains. The price for the chairs was ok.

The apartment was big enough, whereas the bedroom could be a little bit bigger. The equippment of the little kitchen is good. New refrigerator and microwave. Beautiful Balcony with sufficient seating.
