It was worth the trip
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel is in Halkidiki region of Northern Greece.
Consists of one main building (we stayed there in 3rd floor) and a few ( I think 3 or 4 big bungalows) spread in big gardens.
When you enter the area, the hotel looks definately a bit old but very clean and the garden are taken care every day.
Location
We needed about 1 hour with taxi from Thessaloniki airport to the Hotel.
Its about 5mins from Kallithea village.
Kallithea is very popular with many beach bars, clubs and tavernas.
In the weekend it was very very busy with lots of people from all over Europe.
No problem there, since the staff at the reception spoke English and the check in was fast enough.
Rooms were cleaned every day.
Gastronomy
We had the chance to taste greek food for the first time in our life (well there is a small greek restaurant in Kuala Lumbur but I doubt there is genuine greek food there) and we loved it.
Lots of greek oil and feta and salad and we enjoyed it.
Sport & Entertainment
We didnt try any sport entertainement so I cant have an opinion about it but the pool was just ok, not so big I believe but whats the point using the pool when there is very good sea just 2min walking?
Room
Rooms need some rennovation but no complaints there, spacious and with a small balcon with sea-view.
Tips and recommendations
I would suggest to book a room with Full Board becouse prices in Greece tend to be a bit high lately.
