Hotel Alpenblick

As mentioned it is in the south of the lake. Because you can start all your trips and excursions from the hotel. The lake is 5 min by foot and a walk next to lake was one of the top holiday experience - just wonderful. It is next to the street therefore no all the points, but except this it is perfect.

Everything perfect. Everybody helped us and answered us our questions at any time. You could get all the information at the reception desk. The owners of the hotel are present at all time and can tell you all the places where it is not too much crowded. The hotel offered a daily changing training schedule where we started every morning with aqua gym and then followed by either some relaxing time or something else (we did not understand everything :-)) and then was a guided tour by bike or by foot. The hotel offered bikes for free - and the good thing about it - they were really good bikes!

The food was always fine and delicious. The breakfast could have more "english" parts in it like beans and mushrooms or rosti - but i can understand that this is not everybodys taste :-) But the rest of the breakfast was outstanding. The dinner was also exceptionally. We choosed very often the local specialities. There was a big salad buffet every day!

As mentioned before it was perfect - because the hotel offered everyday a special program. Like aqua gym in the morning, many relaxing units and every day a guided bike tour or walking tour - all this was for free - we enjoyed it very much. Also we had the possibility with free paddleboats and rowing boats. We also participated in the free lake tour with the big boat on this little lake - the owner participated and told us all necessary things to know about the region :-) - thx it was very funny!

We had a nice room - the type was "Orchidee" - it had 30 square meter and was clean and tidy at all time. It was big enough for us though there are more luxury rooms in the hotel. Our room faced to the back - so we could see everyday green gras - and believe it or not - everyday sheeps with baby sheeps running around - just like in a movie!

All that we can say is, that we felt from the first minute on very welcome in the hotel and everybody helped us at any time. Food was good, the spa area is outstanding, room nice and clean - so we realy can recommend this hotel to everybody. And as the owner told us that also the winter time is perfect we think of visiting it in the winter time aswell and try skiing for the first time in our life.
