Alpenhof instead of Costa de la Luz *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had originally booked Costa de la Luz, in Portugal, but the Icelandic vulkanwolke forced us to at short notice change. Since we are friends of the mountains, we took this quite easily, grainau? At the foot of the zugspitze? Why not? We were-after a week not! Hiking vacation we were pure Isländern thankful. Pure relaxation, thanks to the weather, thanks to the Alps Hof and its staff. Everything is just right here; internally (staff, service, friendliness, food, indoor pool) as well as external (hikes for example to garnish-partenkirchen including Olympic stadium and damp and the riessersee/highlight of course-a return-with the rack railway on the zugspitze; here at two degrees the atmosphere and furnishings in T-shirt and sunglasses spent)! To sum it up a wonderful week. The hotel is absolutely to be recommended!
