A disappointing getaway *

The hotel is quiet, located away from the main street. This hotel but unfortunately we can certainly not recommend: The hotel itself, I would say, construction from the 70s is tasteless furnishings: Standardmöbel, tacky which enhance ( raufaser weiß-rosé-gestrichen ... ), The murals depict ( were worn on Kalenderfotos), were partly without the sheets scary: purple Biberbettwäsche with flowering plants - nothing for newlyweds! The rooms were clean. The breakfast room is huge and the room was cold and oddly ( with an old DDR FDGB-character). In the corner a small portable RECEIVER, our table cloth was dirty. A selection of food and drinks was ok and sufficient. The stairwell was uncomfortable and the floors are old braungeschipperte bathmats plush couches. The use of the swimming pool was including ( sauna is available at an additional cost extra 8,00 EUR per person - which we didn't use) and very spacious and appealing but a little too cold. But if you quickly its swimming lengths will get warm. The hotel is connected to a restaurant in a beautiful cozy Umgebindehaus and the outstanding dinner ( a la carte) has finally saved our night and many compensated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The area is very nice and if you a fan of Umgebindehäusern is, there's plenty of it to see Cunewalde.
