We have visited this hotel as part of a city break. First, we have found it, despite ausschilderung not, as signs easily ignored. Furthermore, we were a little surprised, that it was so far out of the city. About five kilometer through the forest. At the end of the day, but it was also somewhat good, since we could enjoy absolute peace and quiet. The front desk is not 24 o'clock occupied, which here and there could lead to short waiting periods, which is not ideal is. The room it was very big and very comfortable. It was old furniture mixing with new devices, but everything was very clean. There is a well stocked mini-bar at moderate prices, flat screen tv, slippers and other little things like sweets upon arrival and things in the bathroom, which many hotels lack. One takes the breakfast in the same building but you have to walk to the next input. This is not always good, for example, when the weather and so on but this is certainly different mediocre if not bad. Therefor found a great view over the Thuringian forest. The breakfast buffet was great! Typical regional dishes, very many homemade jams, the great tasted and tidy rolls. It was adequate and the coffee was good. Dinner we didn't to us taken. Tip: rudolstadt with the heidecksburg is a day to explore. You should take time for the cave in Saalfeld, and perhaps one day to hiking. You can perfectly from the hotel. A really successful vacation.
