Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe first impressions of the Amalia are like a Flashback. Shining, stanley Kubricks horror movie with the mysterious Overlook hotel, us fires sprung to mind. Everything is terribly. Long corridors, a huge restaurant and a incredible oversized fireplace lounge. And almost eerie deserted everything. A, grey-haired men change or two as ghosts somewhere in these halls and only imagine, that you are guests responsible for the easement.
Because we in Delphi precisely here again, are also we part of this Greek tragedy. The house made on us a very sad impression. Stream, the a complex of this size need to survive, are stopped or make a large detour to the Amalia long. May be, that the 1960er 70er years and this hotel infrastructure been is state of the art. Today the guest expected but other materials and a different appearance.
This is the location of the hotel is actually quite good. The house is located on the outskirts of town; taverns, cafes and the archeological sites are directly within walking distance. From the balcony one has a beautiful view on the garden and mountains, even down to the sea to. Also the pool is lovely, it is certainly large and perfect us to a refreshing bath.
Room and bathroom were spacious. The furniture has what, inspired by the original and certainly more charming on the designer look 70er. TV, telephone and air conditioning were also.
