Three-bed room in Amalienhof, not recommended *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is very well suited for a city trip, you can certainly mix us in with the other positive reviews.
Nevertheless, it wasn't suitable for our small family including a 21 year-old, adult daughter, as the booked triple room was a double room with an extra bed (a chaiselonge, also called a divan).
But we expressly booked a room with three beds, and the price was much higher than a double room with an extra bed would cost.
When we first complained, we were given a 10 % discount, which ultimately corresponded to the price of a double room with an extra bed.
Location
Very central and well located, the entire historic city center could be explored on foot.
No complaints, the young apprentices at the breakfast buffet still seemed to be a little helpless and slow.
Our complaint regarding the triple room wasn't taken into account.

Good breakfast buffet, varied, clean and fresh.

As mentioned above, the room did not meet our expectations regarding size and the booked triple room.
When we arrived we requested another room, but there weren't any.
The bathroom was also way too small for three people (adults).
Tips and recommendations
Amalienhof can generally be recommended, but don't book a triple room, because you'll get a double with a recliner (chaiselonge/ divan)
