The front desk of the two young ladies were not very friendly. The two men from the evening service were much friendlier, we got a good recommendation for a small restaurant nearby (IL portals). Annoying is the tourism of four €per person per night, since 1 July 2011 from the city of Florence is applicable. Our room was nice and clean, although a bit small for a superior room. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Unfortunately missed some things, the a four-star hotel should actually be taken for granted. So in the bathtub/shower was able (danger of slipping!) appropriate there were no tissues. In addition the room very poorly lit. At the desk there was no lamp so gloomy, not that you could read and write. The cabinet, in a passage was was not lit.. No price list for the minibar or for the telephone charges in the room. Our room on the fifth floor, was despite the Verkehrslärmes quite quiet. Good Soundproofing. The maid the room exemplary cleaned and tidy. The breakfast room was not very attractive and quite dark. The quality of the food was just average. With one exception, there was no fresh fruit, everything else was out of a tin. No freshly squeezed juices. The coffee comes from the automat. The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the main station. Almost all sights are easy to reach on foot. Bus stops immediate nearby.
