Hotel Ancora

The hotel is appropriate about for 50 km far away from the airport Alghero. The next place, which is appropriate for Fischerdörfchen Stintino, about 3-4 km far away. The plant lies on a hill, between Stintino and the famous beach La Pelosa. To the beach La Pelosa are good it 1 - 2 km. The hotel offers a beach shuttle to June starting from in the middle of. To the hotel-own beach a way of the garden of the hotel leads. The way is relatively steep, not recommended for go-obstructed. One must also by an underpass through, which affected me very gruselig and is very low built. I with my 1,62m could go through upright, everyone that am larger must bend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The young man at the reception, spoke perfectly German and Italian. With the waiters one came best with the English language rightfully. The room cleaning was tip great!!

The restaurant was sufficiently largely and very comfortably furnished with basket furniture. Also a very beautiful external terrace is available, which one was not allowed to use for our travel time yet, although it would have the weather already certified. In this point the staff could have been somewhat more flexible and rapidly times a few tables to cover up be able: - (For the duration of the stay one receives a firm table assigned (marked by a wood sign by the room number. ) The quality of the meal was very good! The selection was sufficiently however unfortunately often too few: - (The dinner began officially at 20 o'clock (to 21 o'clock). If we came briefly to 20 o'clock, were the cold hors-d'oeuvres, already usually empty and were not unfortunately any longer filled up: - (Unfortunately was also in first two days refeed somewhat scarcely. Since it increases to complaints came and guest-made a deposit from day to day increased, the quantity of the meals was supplemented: -) Now to the meal selection, there was a cold Vorspeisenbüffet with filled tomatoes, fish, different cheese places, salads etc. then gave it to daily 1 soup. Man could select between 2 Pastavorspeisen and between 2 main foods. The main food always consisted of a fish court and a calf shred court. Daily did the supplement, but always fish and calf shreds change??? The breakfast was good, it gave Croissants, small rolls, toast, muesli, cake, yogurt, cheese, sausage etc.

Animation and maintenance were not offered during our stay. During our stay the playing equipments for the children's playground were developed. Within the lobby range there is free W-Lan. There were beach chairs within the hotel plant 6 or 7 piece. There were, are not also absolutely necessary sun screens none, since there were a great many shade places by the trees. At the beach is the sea water pool, which was not yet cleaned. At the 3. Day also couches were placed around the pool. There was a lawn for sunbathing at the beach also. The beach at the hotel I did not find so great, since at this beach section a landing stage for boats was and it only a small section gave at which one to the water could. Thus rather to the great beach La Pelosa!!! The couches and screen are liable to pay the costs, at the La Pelosa like that as at the hotel beach. At the La Pelosastrand we paid for 2 couches with screen 15. - Euro. The water? Simply wonderful and fantastically. It is crystal clear!!

The rooms are sufficiently large and with everything equipped which one need in such a way. Air conditioning system, large cabinet, mini refrigerator, desk with chair, a small television (also a few German programs). The bath was very beautiful and roomy. Foehn is present. The terrace was very small, equipped with one small table and 2 chairs. Wäscheleine with clips available. Unfortunately the rooms are very badly soundproofed, our neighbor child have at night gladly 2-3 hours of geschrien and there had I to sometimes make sure whether it in our room not falsely lie themselves *grins* thereby have me at most disturbed, it necessary parents did not consider it to calm down. Which disturbed me at most at our room, the darkness was not, it gave Nachttischlampen, only 2-3 lamps at the wall, with orangenem lamp screen, which did not make really bright. Thus who reads in the evening in bed still gladly, carry flashlight forward: -) The room was in the basement, if one opened the room door, had one first 6-8 stages to down-run, then one came on a landing on that the wardrobe and then had one again 1 stage down over in the actual room range to be. I seemed myself as in the cellar and despite sunshine, hardly came light into the room. There was a large terrace door, additionally still folding shops with mosquito net. The price performance ratio was good. An in any case car rent. The travel time was not so ideal, since we wanted unfortunately to use our Kurztrip also as a bath vacation and the weather was unfortunately not yet as great (approx. 21 degrees) was also to last our travel time (19-23 May) still much in the winter sleep, as e.g. the place Stintino. After 21 o'clock one saw no more humans on the roads and the hotel there was relatively small, was within the plant also nothing the matter. I cannot judge, as it is there in the summer, but our son (that me was not) would have bored itself there too dead. For family vacation Sardinien would not be my dream goal.
