Hotel Anticos Palathos

The situation of the Anticos Palathos is not so ideal, since there are more beautiful places and above all more beautiful beaches on Sardinien. In direct environment it gives a few business, bars and restaurants. The not so beautiful beach Marina di Orosei is within walking distance, but the distance pulls itself nevertheless completely beautifully. Sufficiently free parking lots helped us with the decision with the car to drive (5 min). Who visits Sardinien of the beautiful beaches because of, is not here nevertheless necessarily wrongly at the place. Without a car one should not do anyway and few km north continues to lie the beautiful long sand beach Spiaggia Berchida. At the port of Cala Gonone somewhat further south of Orosei one can borrow oneself for at present 80, - € 40 HP a strong motorboat (without boat driving license) + about 30, - € for gasoline and visit the dream bays Cala Fuili, Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Cala Mariolu and Cala Goloritze. These bays are attainable not from the road and are an absolute for beach holiday-makers MUST!!!

The service was correct. The staff was very friendly, nice and attentive. Only the woman employees at the reception are inflexible and leaf already times through the English Duden with quite simple questions.

We used only the breakfast. One had breakfast in the very beautiful romantic inner court. The breakfast is for sardische conditions sumptuously, there should actually to each something after its taste find. The selection reaches of different coffee, dte, milk, cocoa, water and juices over bread, roll, croissant, pastry up to different sausage, cheese, jam, Nutella and honey…

Our room (Pösia) was roomy and with Tel., television, air conditioning system, mini bar, foehn… Quite well equipped. There it only a small window to the fire-place. Inner court gave, was the room quite dark. The bath is okay however somewhat small. To the room also a small cosy terrace belonged.

Sardinien is a bathing and a beach paradise. One finds highly transparent water and super beautiful beaches everywhere on the island. Our favorite beach is the Spiaggia postage Giuncu in Villasimius. A paradiesische bay also finely sandigem beach, crystal-clear water and a lagoon in the back with wildly living flamingos. One day with the motorboat in the small bays with Cala Gonone is a highlight. Please not the boat to the Bude Malu, were abgezockt there we book during the gasoline account!!! However we had this feeling more frequently! Today two cost cappuccino and a water 5, - € and tomorrow in the same cafe at the same time, with the same waitress 6.50 €! English then suddenly any longer and a map does not speak you with the prices gives it then coincidentally also not more!!! We had very strongly the feeling (as Germans? to be welcome) on Sardinien. It occurred more frequently that one ignored us in the restaurant simply and Italian speaking guests were preferentially served.
