Hotel Apartamentos HSM Lago Park

The hotel is about 45 mins from Palma airport, it is a short bus ride to the centre of Alcudia, and about 20 mins to Can Picafort and Port of Alcudia, you can also get the bus to Puerto Pollensa which is about 30 mins away, a quicker way is by taxi which is reasonably priced, the beach is 2 mins across a road, a variety of bars and restaurants are nearby some with entertainment and activities for children.

The service we received was excellent, the staff were always available, friendly, helpfull, and fantastic with the children, language spoken at the hotel included spanish, english and german, we had no problems checking in, and could find no fault with any of the service at this hotel.

We stayed on a self catering basis at this hotel therefore we never ate in the restaurant, but at the side of the pool we often had bar snacks which included toasties, chips, pizzas etc and they were reasonably priced, the food areas were kept clean and tidy,

The hotel provided sunbeds, sun chairs and parasols free of charge, a good size swimming pool with adjoining childrens pool, the entertainment in the day included table tennis, pool, darts, rifle shooting, and childrens games, there is also a small play area consisting of a slide and swings. At night the hotel held various shows and a childrens disco.

The hotel consists of one bedroom apartments and studios, the apartments were a good size, clean, with a balcony, the room had air conditioning, tv, a safe, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, the towels are changed 3 times a week and the sheets on a weekly basis,

Having 2 young children ourselves we would recommend this hotel and surrounding area, the beach is excellent for the children, we always go the first 2 weeks in june and the weather is just right for the children, it is definately value for money, there is a chemist just across the road and the dr's is a short walk away if needed.
