Hotel Aqua Blu Sharm el Sheikh

The airport was only about 25 minutes away. In front of the hotel were shopping possibilities and bars and restaurants. Otherwise, the old market and Naama Bay could be visited well with the taxi. About 25 pounds = 3 euros with the taxi. You walked about 10 minutes to the beach but there was also a free but to the beach. This one always drove punctually every half an hour.

Staff was always friendly, almost no one spoke German and mostly spoke English very sketchily. The room cleaning was clean according to Egyptian standard. When we arrived, we had dirty blankets, they were then changed without difficulty. We arrived in the evening and in the afternoon, we flew back, we still had to hand in our wristbands already at 12 am. In this respect, the staff disagreed a lot. There was child care and expensive dry cleaners.

There are two restaurants. And lots of bars. The drinks were of a good quality, but unfortunately there were always just little palstic cups, also at dinner. We were very disappointed from the food, it was very unimaginative and there was little selection and then, it mostly didn't taste so well. We exclusively ate pizza and pasta. They were very tasty. You could mix lots of drinks at the bars, I would advise you to eat at the beginning of the mealtimes because that way, you still found clean and set tables. Staff was unfortunately not so well organized, you noticed that clearly. We didn't find a midnight snack. A positive thing were the two bottles of water in the minibar which were filled up regularly.

The entertainers tried very hard to occupy the guests despite the heat. There was enough entertainment with the 32 water slides. And what water slides. I have never seen anything like that in Germany. Everyone became a child again that way. There were also some water slides in the kids pool. Super recommended for parents. There was mini disco and afterwards a show every evening. There was miniature golf and chess. There were always enough pool chairs at the pool and these were very far apart. Since there were cloth pool chairs which were very comfortable, you mostly saw some stains. You also got hand towels for free and you could change them any time. It was actually the same at the beach as at the pool. There were umbrellas and palm trees for sun protection. And enough beach chairs were there.

The rooms were in order. The air conditioning was adjustable well and could be switched on all day long. Unfortuantely, the rooms were very badly soundproofed. We were also woken up by the near mosque every morning. There were a minibar and a safe (free of charge). TV with a few international channels but it was sufficient for us.

Definitely go snorkeling. You could see so many different types of fish. It was really super beautiful.
