Large complex with plenty to do
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Athe hotel is large and there are many pools that are safe and hace life guards but not as vigulant as uk life guards but very good. the resturants are a but dated aneed a lick of paint and a review on how they set things out. however there is always, plenty to eat and is cooked while you wait, one has to be patient, but you get hot cooked food. there is a theamed menue every night but dont take any notice its the same food with one oe tow changes from the night before. there is a shuttle bus to the beach witch is very good however this is within walking distance of the hotel, the bus would be better used to shuttle to old sharm . the rooms are ver clean and tidy good size and the cleaner is very good they provide 2 small bottles of water a day and reception checks that they have left water.
drinks are a problem they serve drinks in small glasses that you would put liquire in and glasses are very short supply they do have small plastic cups. thos is the only thing i had problems with at this hotel as you needed to go to the bar about three times to get a decent drink i meen a full tumbler full unless they had tumblers if they had tumblers thiswould sort out the waiting and the numbers at the bar.
Location
distance to the beach is walking distance. the hotel surroundings are very tranquill and well kept.
old sharm is withing walking distance if you like walking however it is down the hill and the trafic is dangerous there should be a shuttle bus perhaps.
the travel time to and from the airpport is about 20 mins.
we did 'nt go on any excersions as we had a rep who told us nothing he asked what do you want to knoe this was med hotels rep.
the staff in reception are very helpfull and will try hard to help. the bar staff are a little to unwilling to serve you i felt it was like you were an inconvenience to them.
Gastronomy
the number of bars are good but you have to wait all the time no glasses available most of the time.
Sport & Entertainment
the entertainments team are the best i have seen in egypt the whole team gets to know you we could understand everything that went on they try very hard to keet you interested and the shows at night wherer varied. the day time program was not what i wanted as its to hot perhapse something like archery pistol shooting skittles may encoueage people to participate.
Room
the rooms are large and always clean and tidy..
there is no mini bar or tea or coffee the tv was upto date nd had a film channel.
Tips and recommendations
please could you have some sort of brocher on what is availabe at the park what you can use as all inclusive and when this was very confussing to us.
