One of the best
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is unusual in that each storey is set back from the one below. This arrangement allows rooms toto have large balconies which are very private. Access to the main hotel facilities which are at sea level is by cable car.
Location
The hotel is situated on the water's edge in a small sandy bay. The sea is crystal clear with water sports and boat hire available. The views and the sunsets are gorgeous.
The hotel operates a coutesy minibus service to Pelekas village to coincide with the municipal bus service to Corfu Town.
It is impossible to praise the service too highly. The General Manager is very obviously dedicated to the welfare and wellbeing of each and every guest and this spirit is carries through to every member of staff. I have been fortunate to stay at top class hotels on every continent but the friendliness, cheerfulness , courtesy, and sheer wish to give 110% as displayed at the Aquis Perikas was matched by none of them.
Gastronomy
All meals are self-serve buffets. There was always a very large selection of dishes all very well presentd. Wines, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks were served in limitless quantities by the cheerful and helpful staff. The chefs were very diligent in replacing any food that had suffered from guests' mistreatment.
Sport & Entertainment
Two teams of enterners work hard and are particularly good at lolking after children for long periods.
The fresh water pool had consistent water quality of the highest order.
Room
Spacious, very contemporary furnishings, with private terrace and magnificent views.
Tips and recommendations
Mosquitoes can be a problem so it is advisable to take repellants.
A sea view room is a must is wellworth the premium payable.
The silver service a-la-carte restaurant -- 'The Olive'-- is excellent in every way and well worht a visit..
