We had a lovely week at Silva beach *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIf there's the entrance of the Silva Beach hotels enter from the main road you do not expect this great, large and green area. It's beautiful in the Cretan style. There are two pools, one was directly next to the bar and a behind the restaurant on the sea. The beach is not so good, because it is very pebbly and rocky. So nothing for pure Sandstrandurlauber. The staff speaks German and very fast at clearing the tables and re-filling the buffet. My room was cleaned every day and the also neat. There's nothing bad to say. One night we ate the a la carte restaurant and "service". It was a nice change to the buffet. The guests were mostly from Belgium, Holland, Germany and Russia. percentage I would not say. If you wish to explore the island, you should really get very convenient with Rethymnon (Turkish influence) and Chania ( Venetian embraced) see. Loved it and intrigued me but also Spinalonga ( Leprainsel in the east). Unfortunately, I of arrival my leather jacket in the bus. I reported it right at the travel agent and the next day I had you stay. Thank you once again Neckermann.
