Fantastic atmosphere at the volcano Arenal *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe are on our self organized tour through Costa Rica for a spur (with telephone. Reservation on the same day) in Arenal Observatory lodge and were positive surprised!HCLFHLAfter a somewhat adventurous arrival (about 9 kilometer from the last paved street of La Fortuna centre nearby), we were given a standard room in the 'La casona' (with always clean shared bathroom), which is about 500m from the main building. We could however with our jeep to the front door and had a fantastic view of the active volcano and Arenalsee on the Arenal, we heard at night and with a little patience even the glow red lava could see!HCLFHLThe breakfast was very delicious and varied, we were received for the following (which was included in the room rate) Guidance over a bridge away, past at howler monkeys, to a waterfall by the stunning natural beauty. This hotel is especially for its incomparable location is a must for every, the impressive atmosphere at the foot of a volcano would like to feel active.
