Saaremaa addicting, the hotel is expandable! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe second hotel our trip through the Baltic States and Poland. Saaremaa is an insider tip. Certainly one of the most beautiful island, the Baltic Sea has to offer. At the time of the ' iron curtains 'absolute barricaded area-and therefore nowhere by any industry average. Away from the main roads and most unspoilt natural landscape with lonely bays. Pure relaxation. In Kuressaare (= German arene Castle) is the Hotel arensburg first place and proud rates. We paid for a double room in the low season (when however beautiful sunshine) 90 euros per night. The therefor has offered us but not really convinced. No safe in the room and two substandard bedding on the ground floor with a view of the backyard. The hotel still has a new wing, there should be better the rooms. The car parking in the courtyard was video surveillance. To be highlighted for Estonian was the breakfast. Plenty of choice, even for non-meat and non-fish and an excellent coffee (in Estonia is not a matter of course). The SPA is really nice, was due to the excellent weather not seen. Directly at the road (Lossi) there are plenty of small cafes and restaurants in which one for Western Europe unbeatable, reasonable prices can have excellent food. All in all: for 50 euro we-this would be satisfied with a comparatively reasonable price-for 90 euro we would't book this hotel again.
