Hotel Arion

The hotel is located in the district of Psiri in the middle of the town. You can walk to Plaka, Acropolis and most interesting sights in Athens - therefore perfect for a city break. Metro station is also nearby. However, if you (like us) traveling by bus is the problem was that the bus into the tiny street in front of the hotel and you can not take this driveway with suitcases a bit of a walk, until you reach the hotel. There is a nearby streets with not very inviting company (drug-users litter) but also well-kept corners with very good tavernas.

Friendly staff - although not overly friendly. But it was ok. It was like everywhere in Greece English spoken. Room cleaning and cleanliness were ok.

It can only be rated the breakfast - other gastronomy (except for snacks). The breakfast is a Greek average - so rather poor.

Brand new renovated room, in our case a view in the backyard. For us that was not a big problem though because we had no street noise. There are rooms with a view of the Acropolis. More importantly, we found the modern décor very new, modern and yet still cozy. If the room had been greater there would definitely 4 star level. Free safe, minibar and TV. Good beds and very good air conditioning. The bathroom was also very nice newly renovated and furnished with a modern feel. We should have stayed in the rooms also a whole week could stand and felt very comfortable in it.
