A paradise - unfortunately also for mosquitoes *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Lobby, restaurant and rooms have dark-wood furnishings. The fantastic beach was flat and the water is crystal clear. Free beach chairs and umbrellas are enough. The day we arrived as it was raining, people on the green island - absolutely beautiful is - small "Swamp Tours" formed by, which is why Corfu Paradise for mosquitoes, wasps and brakes! It is highly recommended, with the hotel's complimentary shuttle to city of Lefkimi and check out with Antimückenspray and a Mückenstichsalbe stock up as Fenistil etc. Obviously not hit the local Stecher helps. One had to say that it usually not as many mosquitos and wasps in Corfu. In the middle of summer should hardly any be an issue. The cost performance ratio was right and we can recommend the Attica.
Location
The beach was located directly at the hotel, just behind pool and pool bar. The next town is Lefkimmi ( 3 km distance). From Monday to Friday is a free hotel shuttle. At 930 and 11 .30pm there and at 12 :00am shuttle back to the hotel. itself is Lefkimmi not highly recommended. There are a couple of little shops and a pharmacy. In the "Attica souvenir" there was the possibility airbeds etc. and the front desk to buy postcards and stamps sold.
The staff was extremely friendly, all of them spoke German. The rooms were very clean.
Gastronomy
The food was very tasty for us. There is plenty of choice. It is recommendable to get half 8 eating as 7am a huge lineup at the buffet. For lunch, you could buy a bit at the pool bar, the right between the pool and the sea is, buy. There are cheap food and drinks.
Sport & Entertainment
The pool is nicely designed. There are tennis courts, table tennis, billiards, and a chess set. Otherwise there was a Solino club for children and a children's pool.
Room
First, we were in the villa, where all in all 18 rooms are. It is outside of the 1890 Neo-Renaissance side (200 -300m) and the rooms were very small, especially the bathroom. As we did feel isolated, on our next day after a new rooms in the main building and they delivered without problem new, larger room with a nice bathroom. The rooms are very simple. There are twin beds, the unfortunately not really can be pushed together and it's so big feet. However, the rooms are perfectly adequate, clean and with a screens on all the windows and doors.
