Hotel Attika Beach

The beach was only a stone's throw away, located right on the beach. city of Lefkimi is 4km away and not a tourist in sight. A hotel shuttle bus is free daily during the week (not Sat and Sun) at 9 :30 and 11 :30 and at 12 noon to city of Lefkimi back. Besides, the hotel was nice lonely. You can walk along the long sandy beach without that come in. Stray houses are situated on beach, the populated by the native people. Sorry, no further shopping, except for the expensive souvenir shop, basic necessities, so also food and drink. You can go on lots of excursions from the travel agent will be offered enough on site. From the airport to the hotel are we drove between 1.5 and 2 hour, because we had to leave other hotels.

The staff at the hotel is super friendly. All of them had super German, even the waiters. The head waiter was a welcome even the hand and has to take a chatted. Even the complaints was a helped us. Unfortunately we had chain smokers as neighbors the half of the night on the balcony and gehustet smoking so of smoke coming into the room and we were woken up by the Coughing at night. The next day we just a great get a new room and be with a view of the ocean. The receptionist was super nice. The room was always super clean and the cleaning lady gave us time flowers placed in our room.

There was a restaurant, where we ate breakfast and dinner. You could even outdoor seating and had a great view of the sea and sunset at night. Fantastic. The food was not so varied and unfortunately very German. I would have liked more Greek foods. Unfortunately, we did not once the whole week gyros. Tuesday and Saturday there were always 2 choices, otherwise the remaining buffet. Breakfast in the morning was just packaged jam which unfortunately was not as good. The rest was ok.

Leisure facilities there was rather less. For children just kids program and disco. There was also internet access in the lobby. The water was nice and warm and is very shallow. You have to walk far in until you cannot stand anymore. The beach was beautiful and the water was very clean. After a thunder storm The pool was very, very dirty.

The rooms were plain and simple and rather small. But it was enough for two, if there are three of, it would be too tight. Refrigerator is also available, TV and radio. In-room safe and air-conditioning there was also, but you have to pay extra as mentioned above. The rooms were clean.

We recommend to rent a car. Beautiful to explore the island on your own and is not that expensive. There are several vehicles between 50 and 100 Euro. You is independent and looks sometimes good other beaches and towns of the island. Bottled water is in the supermarkets in kerkyra the cheapest and you can just shopping with a rental car.
