The hotel Aulac in Lausanne is a much den. The bathrooms are renovated, but instead of showers, high shower, which can be a problem for older travelers. The furniture is very basic but clean. There are only two tiny elevators, the endless need, up or down until you arrive. A staircase, the only from the first floor to use. From the ground floor to the first floor you have to take the elevator. There is an emergency, the so is however, that you have to look. In case of fire this hotel is a case, as we didn't get out. The food is poor, the service (French speaking) hard, but always a clearly overworked impression. I will not be staying in this hotel again.
