Hotel Aux Tauzins

The situation is just outside the village, walking distance, on a hill with a beautiful view over the valley. From the restaurant and the nice terrace you can enjoy this view as well. The beach is about 30 minutes from the hotel and nearest town is Dax, which is known for it's spa and healthtreatments.

Personell is friendly, the hotel is run by a family which all made me feel very welcome. They speak English, and if I'm right also Spanish and German. Rooms are cleaned every morning and my bed made up. I needed some extra towles for the pool and they kindly delivered these together with a nice bathrobe.

The restaurant is the best part of the hotel, a local kitchen, where you can enjoy the famous 'foie gras' together with excellent frech meat and fresh vegetables which the grown themselves next to the hotel. I made a small walk through their cultivations and was impressed.why don't the vegetables at home are this good! The restaurant itself is worth the journey and made my stay very pleasant.

The hotel has a big pool in the big garden, pingpong facilities, a midgetgolf track, deckchairs at the pool all very comfortable.
In the hotel (and terrace) itself wifi is available everywhere (free) and the rooms are equipped with flatscreen with a variety of international tv-channels.

Clean, well equiped and comfortable. They have airconditioning, wifi, flatscreen, balconny with view over the valley etc. The rooms are maybe a bit small, but since I stayed mostly on the terrace or next to the pool, just fine.

I highly recommend this hotel and most of all the friendly reception, high class cuisine and beautiful surroundings! The restaurant itself alone is worth the trip!
