Charming Grand hotel in the center Lisbon *

We lived in East 2011 hotel Avenida palace and loved it. The hotel is getting old, but has charm a luxury nothing lost. Style and service are capitalized here. From the check-in, on information at the front desk, extra wishes at the breakfast through late check-out without additional costs-here you really feel like you as a guest. The staff is really excellent. Room service and cleaning function smoothly. Our room on the third floor, facing the street with a spacious bathroom, soundproof windows, and a well stocked mini bar, which was refilled. The facilities and the nowadays rarely was tastefully, the beds comfortable. We have the five nights excellent night's sleep. The breakfast is served in a splendid chamber. The buffet is plentiful. The breakfast waiters were multi-lingual and speedy. They have a service, such as one from the staff in the 5 * star hotel expect too. The Avenida palace does not have a restaurant, so that you have to eat out in the evenings. This is not, however, a problem. The hotel is located in the center Lisbon, just a few steps from the rossio, the central square of Lisbon. Here there are numerous cafés and restaurants or snack kitchen, where we once a very delicious lunch in Bohnesuppe have eaten. The nearest Metro station is also rossio. There is also a homonymous rer rail link, it was a very nice building, of the 1 hour for example in the former royal residence of Sintra (30 Lisbon kmm) accessible by train can.
