Hotel Bachwirt

The hotel was located very central in the town, still and directly on a small brook.

The staff was - excluding the cleaning lady - basically very friendly and courteous. The room cleaning however was from our viewpoint only one disaster. The rooms were not at all cleaned in the first two days of our holiday, the beds were not even made once. Only at our remark at least the beds were halfheartedly made in the morning . Also the bathroom was not even cleaned during the entire holiday, the trash can was only emptied. Also the obviously dirty hand towels were not exchanged even once.

We had only eaten breakfast in the hotel, not dinner. The breakfast was however very rich and good.

Positive: Our double room with terrace was sufficiently large. Besides there was a water heater in the room, in order to be able to make occasionally a coffee in between. Negative: The furnishings consisted of simple and old furniture. Altogether the room made a very worn and not too clean impression. The bathroom was likewise older, especially a shower curtain was missing, so that after each shower half the bathroom was wet. The terrace consisted partially of concrete slabs which needed repair, besides still dirty terrace furniture had seen their best time likewise long ago. Because at the end of the terrace there was an open rabbit stall and when we had the terrace door opened once at night, in the morning two rabbits sat in our bed!!! Particularly disturbing was the unpleasant odor which was constantly in the air in our room, which probably came from the exhaust duct of the restaurant kitchen beside the terrace. Still not to mention the little things, like the antenna cable hanging from the wall for the small TV in the room as well as a very loud humming mini refrigerator.
