The staff in all areas was very friendly and endeavored, all spoke very good English.
We had for the first four days (as booked) a three bed room, after our return from a 5 day Safari was only a twin room available, then came in an extra bed. It was quite cramped.
There were enough beach chairs and cushions available. On the (actually very beautiful) beach You can hardly dare, as you were immediately by the numerous beach boys relocates is, all wanted to sell something one. They are very pushy, you couldn't get rid of them. This is however at the entire coast Sunday
A ride with the taxi (hotel-own) to the nakumatt supermarket 1000 ksh costs (including wait for driver and return), to Haller park (admission 800 ksh) also. Matatu is not recommended, since these are very full and is stolen. With the Tuk-tuks is cheap, the price will be negotiated beforehand. We have almost all our clothing man-both in the nearby orphanage (Soh) in shanzu, about 2.5 kilometer away in the village and of course the staff has triggered this pleasure. T-shirts, shoes, sweets, pens, shampoo, soap-all grateful and needed.
