We spent six days in this hotel, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We have mixed feelings about this place.
In general, the hotel is not worth the price (even though we had a special offer from agoda - which was cheaper than the prices listed on the hotel website). Still, we would have been rather satisfied if not the owners. The hotel is owned by a couple - a Thai lady and a Swiss man. They are both rude, impolite and unfriendly towards guests. They both didn't say "hello" to their guests and did not even wish us a happy new year!!! I had never experienced such behavior in Thailand, which is supposed to be the land of hospitality and is one of my favorite destinations.

To sum up, I would not go back to this hotel and can't recommend it.

The hotel is located a bit far from the city center - our taxi/tuk tuk drivers had problems finding the place! If you want a taxi from the hotel you need to make a call from the reception desk.
The hotel has a few separate buildings located in a nice garden, the buildings are very close to each other which gives you the feeling of a lack of free space.
The swimming pool is very small, don't be misled by the pictures. There are about 14 sunbeds near the pool, definitely not enough.

Generally ok, except for the owners

Breakfast - we had it included in the price but the quality and choice was not a 4* hotel standard! There was no cheese or ham, only on New Year's Day they served smoked salmon. You could choose only eggs in several forms from a menu card - fruit, jelly, toasts and a Japanese soup were served from the buffet. Don't hesitate to order as much as you want from the menu - one thing will not be enough and there are no limitations on your orders - I don't think other guests knew it. They serve really good, freshly-brewed coffee, though.

A very small swimming pool, much smaller than you could guess from the pictures available on the hotel's website

We had a lanna spa villa, it was big enough for three people despite the fact that we had an extra bed put into the villa. The first floor of the villa is an open room with sunbeds and a steam room, it was good for relaxation and resting after a long day. The second floor is a bedroom and an open bathroom - our jacuzzi didn't work, unfortunately.
The room was clean but old and old-fashioned. The worst thing in the villa were beds, they were very hard and uncomfortable.

Legend: 6 suns= excellent… 1 sun= very poor
