Hotel Barbat

The hotel is located in the same name village Barbat on the island of Rab. From the ferry it's about 15 minutes. The "Barbat" is located right on the sea front, only separated by a walkway. The hotel is on the digital as the distance to the sea 300 meters advertised - this is the distance to the "open" sea. Directly in front of the place is the uninhabited island "Dolin", between Dolin and the island of Rab is the so-called canal, which was nothing other than the sea, so no canal in the true sense. Since the island is a relatively small, the paths are here very well arranged as regards the distance. They have a lot of things which to see (landscape, villages, different beaches ... ), but after a relatively short time is "by". If you are a boat or rent one of clear advantage - there is thousand possibilities. NOTE: in Croatia you need for altered in almost every boat which motor a driving license (license logically also). What the beaches, they have also more possibilities than you holidays that's but in Croatia yes almost normal. There are preferred pebble beaches, but also sandy and in the area of Lopar also large sandy beaches (during the summer months but certainly more than crowded).

As already explained, the hotel led very family friendly and make you feel welcome and extremely comfortable. They are all very friendly and helpful. The staff all speak good to excellent German, so was the owners. The rooms are cleaned daily. Bed sheets were changed once a week. needs, where they could, also fulfilled. As our room did not have its own Internet access, it was totally for example of course, I got the PC at the front desk was allowed to sit and undisturbed (free) access. Entertainment or no children care, but we didn't miss.

Unfortunately I am only "6 suns, otherwise we would have given it safe more. A fabulous restaurant - what the food, ambiance, and just about everything. It will not only for hotel guests. Here you have got to everyone was able to find something that he enjoyed. Another good thing is very rarely and safe: We had half board and were able to freely choose whether we have the main course at lunch or dinner. Moreover, there was no That’s, but we were able to freely from the normal menu, including and dessert. It has bother, whether you a simple meal or the expensive seafood platter took - GREAT. Also exceptional was that you could get food could wish for, which felt that it was not on the map. Had a wish, the other guests were asked if they wish, but nobody had to. Sport is non-existent; because the clear was, I can give no exhaust fan. Beach (pebble and not very wide), as said, "right outside the door". The hotel is on the beach bar and lounge chairs.

The rooms are spacious and of different sizes. From big enough, and as good hotel rooms are normally, exceptionally large until almost huge or room. For example, we could not full, as low season and could pick if we a very large room with a bathroom and a small kitchen and a studio with a bedroom, living room, dining area and a small kitchen. There was only a half sunset, as the kitchen furniture hang kind of crooked,some really not comfortable and a door almost fell out. But otherwise everything.

In September we had excellent weather for swimming, end was it the weather was poor, but that could happen anywhere after all.
