Great country, could have been better be may hotel! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA very nice and well-kept area. The room are rather the years come and the cleaning staff not especially motivated (also not with tips). Otherwise found we the staff tried very hard. In the first week was the selection of the food was quite low, in the second week it better. Quality was OK. Snack bar top.
Info: we arrived in the hotel, after some it for a week, due to a Viruses , was closed. That is why the lack of quality, in the first week?!
The invasion of the locals on the weekends is OK.
It is very noisy and above all dirty. Long waiting times at the snack bar!
The pool is at the weekends barely usable, because it is crowded.
After we is the pool area available again.
The area is spacious! The beach almost always empty. Very nice!
It both at the pool and also on the beach there were enough pool chairs available.
Costa Rica is very worth seeing, the Playa Tambor can we only conditionally recommend.
Caution: it is no tour operator Neckermann-suburb, the we have used several times. Airport transfers etc. were forgotten-almost missed.
Overpriced excursions could only be booked from the hotel.
Excursions on the beach to book-better not-we have it done and were bitterly disappointed-so stay away from the beach Carlos.
