4 stars for small demands *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had stayed at this hotel 7 years ago already. At that time, we actually quite enjoyed the hotel, but we came to the conclusion that it could do with a renovation.
When we had read here that the hotel had been refurbished, we thought we should give it another try.
The hotel has been renovated, no doubt. But in a Spanish manner.
A very botchy job has been done.
About the pool there is to say that it is quite nice, but there are much too few beach chairs.
In such a way that the dear Germans who get up at 7am reserve a beach chair and everyone else is left out in the cold.
We had booked all-inclusive which is appropriate with these prices for drinks.
Location
The hotel is located directly on a rock so that from the guest rooms you have a beautiful scenery.
The beach of Playa de la Arena is about a 10 minute walk away.
The chamber maid was very friendly and always had a smile on her face.
Everyone was also very accommodating at reception as well.
The waiters gave the impression that they don't necessarily need their job and are there just for fun.
Gastronomy
It was okay.
Difficult for vegetarians, chips, carrots, cauliflower and sometimes pizza without any animal topping.
The second week we both had stomach problems .....
Our cafeteria at uni was better ;)
Sport & Entertainment
We used the pool once and when diving you felt like you were swimming in suntan lotion.
Room
The room was the worst.
Some hostels in Germany have better rooms.
The frequently praised plasma TV is a tiny LCD TV with a terrible picture quality.
The bathroom was partly really rotten and we were overcome with disgust.
