Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFor Cuban standards the hotel solymar is one of the better houses. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, even without a 'tip'. As everywhere in the world: as one called in the forest, then it schallt back.
We had a bungalow room to the courts there, and had our peace. Some guests celebrate at night to stay a little longer and will be noisy. But that was not the hotel's fault, they are the guests!
The room was cleaned every day, and there were fresh towels (often than funny swans or heart. folded).
The food in the buffet area was great, but the restaurants were great, especially the Spanish and Creolen!
At the pool and on the beach there were always free pool chairs, even if you only later or in the afternoon came. Just off the entertainment zone it was quiet and lonely... really great.
We enjoyed it to be there, and not every day looking for faults.
