Nothing for people seeking quiet *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel complex quite large, but architecturally well arranged, in many places in need of renovation inside and out, cockroaches in the air conditioner, several silverfish in the bathroom, kitchen fronts have partly fallen off, half board is ok, but no juices for all inclusive, plastic rubbish everywhere caused by all inclusive, mix of Germans, French, Polish and Spanish on the week-ends (very loud), especially at the main pool and at the bar, with billiards and table tennis, sewage smell throughout, one of the pools is completely out of order and locked,
Location
on the Teide in half an hour, 10 minutes on foot to the very nice Arena-beach, bus stop in front of the door, unfortunately, on principle, not a place for strolling about, taxis very cheap, transfer to the airport between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on how often the bus stops, 2 supermarkets close by, very nice car rental in the building (€23 per day),
staff friendly, during high season (nearly always) overstrained and badly organised, we were only offered an air freshener against the cockroaches, inflexible: deposit for TT rackets €5, if you don't have any money on you, they won't accept to keep an object of value instead,

food was good, of course not always hot, but well-rounded and varying, you can sit nicely outside, inside it is very noisy, lots of guests in shorts, singlets and flip flops which are not causing any feelings of indulgence, tables not properly clean, same goes for the floor,
Sport & Entertainment
tennis courts almost always available, material not usable, broken tennis rackets and balls, the children's entertainment was only suitable for the very youngest, entertainer for the grown ups very nice, very difficult for children between 9 and 13.
Room
Size of the apartments is ok, third sleeping facility poor, furniture worn, not enough shelf spaces, air conditioner not usable due to bugs, we were in block C on the top floor with a sea view, so very nice, also quiet except for barking dogs and cockcrow - but not bad, in any case, you should try to get a room in blocks E or C and on an upper floor,
Tips and recommendations
great weather, great travel time, great beach (not for toddlers), great for excursions (Loro Park, Siam Park, etc. ),
