Hotel Bastion Amstel Amsterdam *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAs a high-rise hotel is by far to see. Mixed clientele. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Dirty towel with hair from the previous guest next to the bed. Broken light bulbs, from that only diffuse light. Dirty kettle, therefore not usable. Completely worn matresses. No hair-dryer available (but wireless Internet access! ) No shelf space in the shower. Only park on the floor. Cold of smoke in the room (probably earlier smoking room).
Location
Hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area right next to a car wash. about 10 minutes. The local metro station.
Inkompetenter service at the front desk. We were on a totally wrong underground station, sent to the about half an hour to it. When we otherwise the return trip out-found this not true, we asked the staff again. This said he would "only recently joined here, and this could not know. " Thank you.
