The chateau tongariro is the best and most impressive hotel in Tongaririo national park. In the case beautiful weather you had a dream view of volcano and liable surrounding mountains. We were there on our 3 week tour and from there 2 days to explore the national park. Evening we have a fantasischen dining in kals however reasonably priced more upscale menu to us that this hotel should be allow if you visit the National park. The other hotels remember rather youth hostels.
