The area was very beautiful-bad food *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ABecause of the very good reviews and personal recommendations I chose the hotel Playa la arena for the ten day break from. The first impression was very positive. A very large, well-kept hotel area, the very nice garden-pool area and the proximity to the beach met all our expectations. The room are big enough and clean with a beautiful spacious terrace. The evening entertainment offers were good (every evening live music in the two bars) and very professional and the shows as well. Therefore, in these areas is really nothing to complain about it! But, the food and the service in the restaurant was really bad. First the food: the food was for Spanish standards very poor, the quality of raw materials (especially the meat and fish poor), the food itself to the beginning of the meal times were almost always less than lukewarm, bad flavored not, without any sauces served, the salad buffet was a joke '' (tomatoes, green salad, cucumber, possibly some beetroot), side dishes little vegetables, and from the food offer not to mention! Even the typical 'Canary cart open elk' spree were served with only a sporadic. So bad I've never stayed in a vacation and my many canary in the high expectations. It was no pleasure, but it was more around the full! Furthermore, the service was in the hotel's restaurant was satisfying. The waiters cleared only slowly from, so that the plates on the tables, especially at breakfast, stacked. Ordered water served in the plastic molded and not once! I would like to add that, in my opinion, that the hotel despite holiday time, to a maximum of 30% was occupied. On the weekends until, where the Spaniard broke, but not what bothered me. So at least on the weekend were a few more tables at the evening entertainment and it makes you feel like you are not so lonely. Conclusion: a nice hotel, but with miserable food and poor service. If you're looking on culinary delights and well-kept atmosphere in the dining room of the finger should!
