Well-kept Hotel in central location *

Unfortunately almost forced the size of the hotel with it, that you get a feeling of cosiness 'missed, but this is not a criticism, but as a note to understand, for all those, who stay in a bit more intimate/private Atmossphaere want to spend your holiday more (particularly at dinner or at the bar).
At Le Mauricia, you can spend the large number of guests/rooms very easy time anonymously, without coming into contact with other guests. There were sufficient beach-but also the pool chairs, so that you could always find a Plaetzchen.
The guest structure was August about 60% French, 25% English and the rest was a mixture of Italian, German, Spanish and East Europeans.
The buffet was good quality and for the period of a week with enough variety. It is recommended that the all-inclusive package, if you like in the hotel for lunch and dinner a little more than just a glass of wine or beer to drink, as the prices of the drinks were quite high (about nine euros for a cocktail)
Due to its central location, not far from the center Grand Baie, you can book many excursions in the city, the public bus to Port Louis, or go out to eat or to buy.
