The apex of Switzerland's 5star Hotellerie
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWonderfully kept and renovated fin de siecle Hotel. Vacation home for those who are after real values more than exhibitionism.
Location
Great location on the Lake close to nice gardens,little restaurants, public transport including the Lake Geneva boat landing in Ouchy.
Superb. The concierge knows your room number after the first time he saw you, the chambermaids fold your clothes and the bell boys pick up every so little leaf or whatever from the marble flor in the hall. And eveybody is absolutely friendly and competent.
Gastronomy
Just had breakfast trhere, but this was really a treat. Freche bread you can dream about and all sort of other goodies incl. freshly prepared meals on request.
Sport & Entertainment Unused
A new superb spa area is being bulit/added and wqill open apparently later this year.
Room
Very nice room even if I had one with no lake view. The only thing I had loved to have was a CD palyer.
Tips and recommendations
Hardware and software are at the top. Service and discretion, friendlyness paired with professionalism. From the bellboy to the GM. What a place.
