Very nice hotel
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThere is a hotel building and bungalows. We stayed in the hotel (main part). Hotel is clean, as well as the garden. We had 'all inclusive'.
Guests of different nationalities and age.
Location
Very close to the beach (10-15 metres maybe). There is a stony beach (not sandy - there's also sandy beach in Acharavi but not so close to the hotel and also in Roda) but good option is to use special shoes for swimming and you don't care about stones :)
Acharavi is a small town, located near Roda, few kilometres from Sidari on the one side and near Kassiopi on the other side. Distance to Korfu (where the airport is located) is about 40 km, but it's not so fast and easy to get there because of very winding and sheer roads.
There are souvenir shops near the hotel and in the centre of Acharavi and at least 2 supermarkets, next to the entrance of one of them there is a cash machine (Eurobank). Many restaurants, but we went only once to the one of them because we took 'all inclusive' at the hotel ;)
There are travel offices where you can buy trips but also a good way to see more at Korfu island is to rent a car (as we did - but we took a car in Sidari at Vlaseros Travel where prices were low according to offers in Acharavi).
Staff is really friendly, everyone speak English (we didn't try with other languages).
Rooms were cleaned every day (except Sunday), they change towels once in 2 days but when we asked to change every day it wasn't a problem.
We didn't use laundry service but I know there is such a possibility.
When we arrived the toilet tank didn't work - we complained and after few hours it was fixed.
Gastronomy
One restaurant and two bars (pool-bar and hotel-bar). In 'all inclusive' we had breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks at the pool-bar, beer, wine, ouzo, brandy, cola, juice, water, ice-creams.
Food was good - there were more and less tasty dishes :)
Dining areas were clean.
I don't know prices because I didn't pay for anything ('all inclusive').
Sport & Entertainment
Entertainment... only Greek night on Wednesdays so if you are going to spend your time at the hotel it can be boring :)
There is internet (paid).
There are 2 pools (clean and nice) with sunbeds for free.
Beach is clean, stony, a possibility to rent sunbeds.
Room
Sufficient size of rooms (we stayed in the main part of the hotel, we don't know anything about rooms at bungalows). Air-conditioning was loud so we had to change its' level to minimum at night. Our rooms (1st floor) had balconies. There are fridges inside rooms. Bathroom was OK but you can't put anything into toilet bowl (not even toilet paper).
The hotel (at least the main part) is renewed so in general it was OK.
Tips and recommendations
We were there from 25th Aug till 1st Sep and the weather was great - hot, sunny, sea was warm :)
